Some Say: "Phil's a perfectionist, a walking library, creative with words, photography,
desktop publishing and excel spreadsheets . . . and sometimes too
quiet". In each of Phil's former careers - as
mechanical engineer, a sailor, a teacher, a journalist, photographer
and homebuilder - he mastered the art of detail management. He's
been translating the skills he learned in those professions to real
estate since 1987, adding his own special passion: the
determination to know the most, to be the best, to make each
transaction better than the last. |

PHIL'S UNDERGRADUATE
DEGREE is from Brown University, his Master's from Northeastern.
He worked 10 years as a machine designer and then as an assistant
professor at Rhode Island Junior College. Phil "discovered" Stuart's
enticing waterways while on a year's cruise from Maine to the Virgin
Islands in his Hinckley Bermuda 40 sailboat - and adventure that led to
more sailing and a 6 year career in photo-journalism for the boating
magazines. He vowed to make beautiful Stuart his home when he
returned from the Caribbean. He did so, and in 1980 Phil designed
and built a 2-story home in Stuart, and then became active in area real
estate and property management. |
